Nike’s latest release, the VRS Covert 2.0 matte black driver, is inspired by use of the color black in college sports. You’ll typically see college teams incorporate black into their uniforms for meaningful games. This tactic is used mainly because black is a color to describe power, strength and sophistication.
This power infused driver is decked out in black, from head to toe grip. A black Tour Wrap 2G grip beckons to be grasped, oozing with confidence that you’ll power 300+ yard drives. The grip blends seamlessly into the Kuro Kage Black shaft that matches the matte black finish that coats the clubhead.
“The Covert 2.0 Matte Black Edition driver offers a unique, limited-edition design combined with Nike’s high speed cavity back technology,” says Rob Arluna, Nike Golf Global Golf Club Business Director. “The matte black finish on the head provides a sleek, modern aesthetic and eliminates glare. The black grip and shaft give the driver a stealth, covert look.”
The VRS Covert 2.0 matte black driver will feature the same, state-of-the-art technology used in the Nike VRS Covert 2.0 driver.
