Trending: Srixon Z Star Golf Balls

Reading Time: 3 minutes

“Best ball I’ve used. Long, yet great feel around the green. I’ve made the switch and I’m not going back!”

“Great ball both off the tee and around the green. It jumps off the clubface and I can stop it on a dime.”

“Great ball, one of the best on the market.”

These golf balls deserve all the attention they’re getting. The Srixon Z Star golf balls have been flying under the radar, but not anymore! After those reviews it sounds like these are some golf balls everyone should be checking out. For those that don’t keep up with the nitty gritty stats of the PGA Tour, Srixon has become the #2 golf ball played on the PGA Tour. That alone speaks volumes, but I’ll break down what the Srixon Z Star golf balls are all about.

This is the second generation of SpinSkin technology and Srixon has made some minor enhancements that go a long way. The new coating increases the friction by 18% and enhances the overall cover softness by 21% compared to the previous generation. This minor change will help you with two things: spin and touch.

324 Speed Dimple Pattern

This dimple pattern is also a new generation which features the combination of the uniform dimple design with a higher surface coverage. That’s fancy talk for More Distance and More Control, especially in those tough windy conditions.

Gradient Growth Core

The new advanced construction for these golf balls epitomizes everything you’re looking for in a golf ball and what Srixon is calling S.T.A.R. Performance (Spin, Trajectory, Acceleration, and Responsiveness). The Srixon Z Star golf ball will feature this technology, while the Srixon Z Star XV golf ball will feature a Dual Gradient Growth Core. Simply put, enhancing the performance for those that have higher swing speeds.
