Vapor Pro

The Nike Vapor Pro iron provides you with the ultimate workability and shot shaping trajectory in an iron. The Modern Muscle design balances the center of gravity in the center of the clubface to increase ball speed and stability while also offering the purest feel.

Looking down at the Nike Vapor Pro iron you’ll notice a straight leading edge, thin topline, and minimal offset – all promoting a more accurate alignment. This iron also moves the weight slightly forward for a lower trajectory with the compliment of a narrow sole width that provides maximum versatility for a pure feel and crisp turf contact.  To enhance the playability, Nike has utilized the X3X milled grooves with a one piece forged carbon steel design for exceptional feel and feedback desired by true ball strikers.

To maintain a consistently lower trajectory, Nike stocks a True Temper Dynamic Gold as their recommended shaft choice in this iron. You have the option of an X100 (130g), S300 (130g), or the R300 (127g). These pair best with the Pro iron for the low, penetrating ball flight preferred by professionals and better players looking for optimum control and accuracy.

Vapor Speed

The Nike Vapor Speed iron is the most forgiving iron out of the Vapor line. It provides a Modern Muscle design that puts the center of gravity in the center of the clubface. By isolating the center of gravity in the center, the iron will boast maximum ball speeds and greater stability with a pure feel in an extremely forgiving iron.

The Vapor Speed iron utilizes Nike’s FlyBeam reinforced hollow cavity in the long irons (3-7) for maximum energy transfer and forgiveness, and provides stability and refined feedback in the short irons (8-SW) by employing the RZN cavity. You’ll find that the Vapor Speed iron focuses the weight low and deep in the head for a high trajectory resulting in increased control and pure power, while the milled X3X grooves provide enhanced spin for the control and consistency expected out of a Nike iron.

For a compliment to the low weighting in the head, Nike pairs this iron with a True Temper Dynalite 105 steel shaft for an enhanced, higher trajectory. Other options include a stiff and regular flex that weigh in at 120.5 grams. There’s also a graphite option with the MRC Fubuki Z 70 in stiff (74g), regular (71g), senior (68g), and ladies (54g) flexes.
