Favorite Golf Shoes of 2017
FootJoy has held the spot of #1 Shoe on Tour for a long time. Their reputation of putting out quality products continued with the Pro/SL spikeless shoe, which became the #1 shoe on Tour in 2017.
The shoe is made of high-quality, lightweight ChromeSkin leather by Pittards. The inside of the Pro/SL has dual density FTF (Fine Tune Foam) that keeps your feet happy and comfortable while you play. Even though there aren’t spikes, these shoes still give you the traction you need to swing with confidence.

Skechers Go Golf Pro 2
Skechers may not be well-known for their golf shoes yet but with shoes like the Go Golf Pro 2, that’ll change. Don’t let the simple look of these shoes fool you either. They are packed with technology to give you comfort and performance.
A spiked shoe, the Go Golf Pro 2 has a lightweight foam cushioning for comfort. Their low profile and minimal heel drop keep your feet closer and connected to ground. The upper is also made of a soft leather that has the company’s H2GO shield for 2 years of waterproof protection.
The design of the traction plate outsole keeps your feet on the ground and also adds to the overall comfort of this shoe.
Our review of these tells the complete story of these sneaky good shoes.
adidas Crossknit Boost
Golfers looking for a shoe to wear on and off the course should consider the adidas Crosskint Boost spikeless shoe. The upper is made of the company’s new CIRCLEKnit material. Specific for golf, the material stretches and breathes while still providing stability during your swing. Boost foam stretches the length of the shoe for all-day comfort. adiWear traction modules on the bottom of the shoe give the shoe its grip.

Puma Titan Tour Ignite
Another of our favorite golf shoes of 2017 is the Puma Titan Tour Ignite. Multiple features of this shoe combine to give it its comfort, durability, and performance.
Ignite foam cushioning makes the Titan Tour Ignite comfortable right out of the box. The PWRCOOL insoles help regulate the temperature of your feet on hot summer days.
The outsole of the shoe is flexible with spikes that are strategically placed to give you traction throughout your swing. A full-grain leather upper gives the shoe its good looks and, more importantly, its durability.
Nike Lunar Command 2
The Nike Lunar Command 2 is another extremely comfortable shoe with tons of performance features.
Flywire technology in and around the laces hug your feet as you tighten them, making the shoe very stable and supportive. Lunarlon cushioning runs the entire length of the shoe, giving your feet comfort. Seven spikes and various molded traction “bumps” grip the ground while you swing. Lastly, these shoes carry a 1-year waterproof warranty.
