The Nitty Gritty: Nike VRS Covert 2.0
For a lot of you it’s cold outside and let’s be honest, golf isn’t on the forefront of your mind (unless you’re like me and you watch Golf Channel 24/7). So, for those of you who’ve been busy “battening down the hatches” due to the latest polar vortex, you may have missed something. Nike has released their 2014 line of golf products. I’ll do the best I can to weed out the high-tech wording and give you the details you need to know. We’ve also compiled a list of videos (above) with our PGA Professionals explaining the product in great detail. I’ll start by giving you a few remarks from a couple guys you may have heard of before.
“I loved it and put it in play right away” said Rory McIlroy. “Covert 2.0 is a little bit more forgiving, if you look at the tee marks (on the face of my driver) not all of them are in the middle. You have a little more off the toe and off the heel, so the added forgiveness helps with shot dispersion and increased ball speeds.” Rory McIlroy struggled most of the season, switched to this product and returned to his dominating fashion.
Let’s hear from the number one player in the world, Tiger Woods, on the Nike golf clubs; “I also found a new Nike driver, VRS Covert 2.0 Tour, that I’m really excited about. I drove the ball a little further and definitely straighter than I have been all year.” The fact that the top athletes in the world are gushing over these products proves they are worth a look. Take a minute and discover what these clubs are all about.
