Nike Vapor Irons Are Nike’s Best To Date
The Nike Vapor Pro irons are a player’s dream come true. They have straight leading edges, and thin toplines with minimal offset. They’re forged from a single piece of 1025 carbon steel for the purest feel. The center of gravity located exactly at midpoint, combined with a slightly forward weight placement produces explosive, penetrating ball flights. The narrow sole width is premium for crisp turf interaction and ultimate shot-shaping consistency.
“The unique, Modern Muscle profile introduced in the Vapor series of irons both balances the weight of the hosel and structurally reinforces the blade profile resulting in immediately discernible improvements in precision and feel for our athletes,” says Nate Radcliffe, Nike Golf’s Director of Engineering. “In testing, most of our athletes comment that these clubs feel and perform as if there is more mass behind the ball with a heavier and more solid impact.”

The Nike Vapor Pro Combo iron is a midsize profiled iron that progresses from a long and low designed long iron to a classic short iron. The 2-7 irons also have a RZN cavity for forgiveness. The progressive profile is matched with the progressive sole width which has a beveled leading edge for increased forgiveness and versatility for all shot types. The weight is evenly distributed to produce high-flying long irons and piercing short irons. The machine milled X3X groove will increase the spin control and add consistency on every shot.
“The Vapor Pro Combo is one of our most innovative iron constructions to date,” said Nate Radcliffe, Nike Golf’s Director of Engineering. “Our precision application of multiple materials throughout this Modern Muscle design has fueled the breakthrough performance characteristics that our athletes such as Rory are reporting back to us. This iron has the clean lines and workability of a blade with the forgiveness of a game improvement iron.”

The Nike Vapor Speed irons are the perfect iron when looking to combine maximum forgiveness and traditionalist looks. The ultra-fast Spring Steel face with NexCOR technology coupled with lightweight, high launching shafts increases ball speeds and trajectories. The long irons (3-7) hollow cavity is reinforced with a Fly Beam to stabilize the club on off-center shots. The cavities of the short irons (8-PW) are filled with RZN to produce stability and feedback. The longer blade lengths and shallow face heights set up for a clean and inspiring profile.
“The Vapor Speed irons are for the golf athlete who wants maximum distance and forgiveness throughout the set,” said Nate Radcliffe, Nike Golf’s Director of Engineering. “This is the longest distance iron that we have ever created. If you want to hit it long and straight, this is the iron that fits that profile.”
