When the #1 golf shoe company in the world speaks, the entire golfing world typically listens. Footjoy’s new line-up for 2015 is built around enhancements in style, comfort, and sophistication that will have not only you looking good but your feet feeling even better so you can perform to the best of your ability.

Icon Black

The new Icon series for 2015 is the FJ Icon Black, and no, it doesn’t just stand for the color. The FootJoy Icon Black golf shoe combines premium materials with first-class workmanship to deliver a timeless, classic look that has kept Footjoy at the top of premium golf shoe market. The shoe features Calfskin leather uppers, a softer grain of leather than before, which delivers increased comfort and durability. Memory Foam around the collar and in the tongue give the shoe a custom fit feel that’s required of top of the line golf shoes. Leather inserts were also built into the TPU (Thermo Plastic Urethane) outsole to add to the improved look and feel of these classics with each step. The overall fit is slightly narrower in the heel than it is through the arch and forefoot. A two-year waterproof warranty is included.

Hyperflex

Perhaps the most exciting debut for 2015 is the FJ Hyperflex.  This new venture in shoe design for Footjoy has been marketed already with the slogan: “Step Into The Next Big Thing.” Hunter Mahan gave a sneak peek into the shoe when he wore a prototype version during the Ryder Cup that drew many inquisitive eyes. The FootJoy Hyperflex golf shoe features a new FlexGrid 2.0 technology that uses soft athletic mesh in the uppers of the golf shoe to deliver lightweight, yet waterproof (2-year) performance. The FTF 2.0 foam sole gives you a comfortable and cushioned feel yet provides enough stability to limit the later movement of your foot during the swing so you can transfer maximum power to the ball. This works in conjunction with a heel stabilizer that truly locks in the support and stability your foot deserves from heel to toe. The overall fit is a slightly narrow heel, a standard arch and forefoot, and full rounded toe box.

Contour Series

The Contour series has been a staple in the Footjoy collection for years and could be the most popular selling shoe from the lineup. They could be the best shoe you put on your foot from a comfort, feel, and stability perspective especially if you are a walker. I’ve been wearing the FootJoy Contour series golf shoe for over seven years now and every shoe I try on, I compare to these. The shoe features a soft, full-grain leather with a two-year waterproof warranty for outstanding comfort and durability right of out the box. An internal fit-bed adds the comfort to your underfoot while also providing except heel cushioning for dampening shock to the foot during walking. The TPU stability bridge connecting the heel to the forefoot is the stabilizing support structure that really takes the shoe to another level. Lastly, the shoe has a fully rounded toe box, a full forefoot, and standard in-step and heel for the most comprehensive fit in the lineup.

M Project

The second generation of the M Project (first debuted in 2013) has been slightly re-designed with the mobile golfers in mind to enhance the feel and minimalist construction of its predecessor. The FootJoy M Project golf shoe features special leather developed by Pittards of England that is lightweight and thin, yet still provides strong, durable performance like we have come to expect from all Footjoy shoes. The outsole features a super thin, yet flexible base that lowers your foot closer to the ground for optimal toe grip, stability, and power transfer to the swing. The cushioned internal fit-bed provides comfort and support to the foot that mimics the Contour series. Lastly, the shoe offers a fully rounded toe box and full fit across the forefoot for a profile very similar to the Contour series as well.

Club Casual

The new FootJoy Club Casual golf shoes bring style and sophistication to your off-course functions at your country club or to the workplace. There are three slightly different style elements that will be offered with the Club Casual golf shoes. All will feature full-grain leather with DuraMax rubber outsoles for a smooth, yet relaxed fit in a breathable, waterproof body.

D.N.A.

Three new colors augment the D.N.A. lineup for 2015: white/black, white/bronze, and white/yellow. The FootJoy D.N.A. golf shoe exploded on the shoe scene last year with its impressive design and complete performance and will only continue to be one of the best sellers from the collection. Packed full of next generation advancements in technology like ChromoSkin leather, a 3-D FoamCollar, and NitroThing TPU outsole, the D.N.A. is the most complete package Footjoy has ever delivered in one golf shoe. I absolutely love the superior look, feel, and design of the shoe and the way it fits my foot.

FJ Junior – D.N.A & Superlite CT

Footjoy doesn’t just want the adults looking sharp – they want the entire family looking the part. The new FJ Junior offerings include the super popular D.N.A. and the lightweight Superlite CT.  The FootJoy D.N.A. junior golf shoe is the stylish choice in white/blue and grey/orange colors with a synthetic leather construction that has the look and feel of a full grain leather shoe. The FootJoy Superlite CT junior golf shoe is also a spawn of the men’s version. It, too, has a synthetic leather construction but instead features a spikeless sole for a relaxed, athletic feel and enough nubs for great traction.

FJ Ladies – D.N.A & LoPro Casual

With the monumental success of the men’s D.N.A. shoe launch in 2014, we were left wondering when a women’s model would become available. Enter the FootJoy D.N.A ladies golf shoe. Just like the men’s version, the shoe features “ChromoSkin” leather designed by Pittards of England which is a lightweight, flexible skin that provides premium feel in a durable two-year waterproof body. The stylish, athletic design also features as 3-D FoamCollar for improved fit and stability around the heel and ankle bone while the SnugFit tongue ensures a proper on top of the foot. Finally, a foam insole fit-bed works in conjunction with the shoe’s FoamCollar to give the underfoot excellent cushioning and the Opti-flex outsole, traditionally used in DryJoys, adds the stability you need through the arch to the forefoot.

footjoy-ladies-lopro-casual-golf-shoe

The FootJoy LoPro casual ladies golf shoe has new updated aesthetics for 2015 but the same great feel as the prior generation of this popular ladies selection. This shoe features a spikeless sole made of DuraMax rubber which provides enough traction for various turf conditions, giving you slip resistant confidence to make your normal swing even when nature’s elements get in the way.  The uppers are made of soft, full grain leather for superior comfort and a one-year waterproof warranty. The interior fit-bed adds a comfortable, cushioned feel to dampen shock to your foot. The new, solid color stitched design adds a more stylish sophistication to this year’s model. Lastly, the shoe features a fully rounded toe box, a slightly shallow forefoot, slightly narrow heel fit, and a standard instep.
